Located on the edge of the University of Michigan campus, our mid-century modern chalet is just steps from everything Ann Arbor has to offer.
We are across the street from Power Center, Hill Auditorium and Rackham theater. The schools of Dentistry, Mathematics and Chemistry are within a short walk, as is the entire UM Medical Center. Campus bus stops are all nearby, taking you to the far side of the main campus or up to North Campus whenever you need it.
Dozens of dinner-class restaurants, cafes and bars are within less than a mile. Entertainment venues such as The Blind Pig, The Ark and Lo-Fi are all located on and near Main Street, less than a mile from our front door.
Traveling without a car? The Amtrak Station is less than a mile away, as is the city transit center with Michigan Flyer service to the Detroit Airport and East Lansing.
The innkeepers, Bob and Pat, have created a comfortable, special experience for everyone coming to stay!
Originally built as a four room apartment building on the north edge of the University of Michigan campus, the mid-century modern chalet was converted to a B&B beginning in 1992. The inn originally had nine guest rooms with en suite bathrooms. Over the years, some of the apartments have been sold as condos and the remaining rooms have remained a bed and breakfast under the current ownership.
